Brother is here = no spankings

My brother has been here for almost a month now. He usually stays with us for a few days when he passes through town, but this time he's stuck around for longer than usual. And when he's here we get no privacy. I am going to start letting him know that he has to figure out where he's going next. I just want to be alone with J!

I did manage to finish the book I was reading. It's called Power Exchange, and the author is Madeleine Oh. It was interesting to read about Annie's journey into submission. The writing did seem a bit jumpy to me at times, like one second she wasn't ready for a certain scene, but the next page she was immersed in that very scene. I didn't always feel like she had a chance to adjust to her new role before being thrust into the next new thing.

But overall it was an entertaining read with some hot and sometimes graphic descriptions of what was happening. It did include many of Annie's thoughts and fears that were the same as the ones I sometimes think about. Mark does seem a bit harsh at times, but overall I think he's likable and genuinely cares about Annie's well being.

I'm not sure I'd pay $17 for it (the current price on Amazon), but if you see it at a yard sale or a library, it's worth a read.
